About Ujap.de and me
I am Dr. Ute Schröder, a biologist/software developer/scrum master/MSc Risk. (For the benefit of the search engines, my former name was Platzer). I like plants a lot, that's why everything here looks so green. Another of my hobbies is - as you may have guessed already - programming. I started with GWBASIC, later switched to QuickBasic and VisualBasic. Today, I use Java and PHP and whatever else comes my way.
After finishing a Masters programme in Risk and Environmental Hazards at Durham University, UK, I am currently working on the analysis of landslides following big earthquakes (see also my dissertation) and looking for a job with a similar focus.
If you have any questions, suggestions, or comments about this website or the UJap plants or projects, or maybe even want to offer me a job, please use the ConTact form.
